Book a pupil

Choose Book lesson, or Book on an assigned pupil's card.
2.
Check the pupil, date, time, duration and lesson type.
3.
Review the calculated price. It uses the pupil's applicable hourly rate.
4.
Choose Save and check the booking in the diary.
Available prepaid hours reserve automatically. Use the payment badge to record an actual payment or agreed cash; a booking form cannot mark money received with an unchecked claim. DriveBest rejects pupil and instructor clashes. Allow travel time and breaks yourself.
Offer a free slot
Choose Offer a free slot to my pupils in Diary, or Available lesson slots in More. Enter its date, start time, duration and pickup information. Choose Review and share slot, review the details and confirm. Your pupils with active portal accounts receive a separate notice. Available-slot emails go only to pupils who opted in.
The first eligible pupil to confirm gets the booking. Other pupils cannot claim it afterwards. Check the confirmed lesson in your diary. Withdrawing an open offer removes its availability; it does not cancel a lesson already booked from it.
Change a booking
Use School Diary's Manage control to reschedule or cancel where your Instructor view does not offer that action. Creating another booking does not move the original. Check the saved result and confirm important changes with the pupil through private Messages.
